Because I did buy used, I do have a few extra dollars to spend, and for the most part, it is a stock bike (I don't think those are Heritage bars, but what do I know).
What would you recommend done to the bike out of the gate? I have only put about 100 miles on it in the past 2 weeks but I already have some ideas, after riding, reading, and listening. I'll throw them out there and let me know your thoughts.
Air Cleaner - I went with K&N
Pipes - Short term, I'm going to shop for some used slip-ons.
Long term, I'd like to hear some bikes with the True Duals
Fuel Managment - FuelMoto is a sponsor over there in the touring forum and alot of people have some good stuff to say about the PCV.
Those are the big items right now, Smaller items are some Highway Pegs, maybe some different wheels, a BrightAssLight, and I'm thinking of some mini apes.
I'm open for any suggestions and comments.
Thanks again,
Dan
Sounds like you have a good plan. Only thing I would add would be an oil cooler. I ride in Central Florida like you and can tell you that engine will get hot! Keep good synthetic oil in her and add an oil cooler (HD or JAGG). Ride safe.
