I'm currently in Afghanistan, but should be home on leave to pick up our 2010 Street Glide by 17 May 2010. It will be our first Harley and I already have big plans for the bike (Household 6 permitting ;-P). We will ride it like we stole it during the weeks I'm home. I rode a crotch rocket (Kawi ZX-10R) before and got rid of it shortly after getting married. Both of us wanted another bike, but we want to enjoy the ride instead of rushing through it.
Here is what I have planned so far:
Rinehart Xtreme True Duals (I'm drawn to the odd design)
PC-V and Air Filter from FuelMoto
Klockwerks 6.5" Windshield
12" Mini Apes (Still undecided, but leaning towards Yaffe MBB's or Wild1's)
New seat and some aesthetic items for Mrs. Savage
I'm open to all opinions, suggestions, and advice. At 27, I'm at least smart enough to know what I don't know is enough to fill the Library of Congress.
I just got back form over there 2 months ago, Picked up my first Harley as well last week. Stay safe, watch your 6, and be ready to enjoy the ride when you get back
