Default Greetings

Just completed purchasing my first Harley - a 2009 Road King standard in the fastest color. I'm excited, of course. Unfortunately, the weather is going to be bad for the next couple of days so I won't get any riding in.

I have had crotch rockets prior to this motorcycle. Nothing against metrics, but I'm getting to old to always be leaning forward (cafe racer style). Hurts my bad back.

Been lurking around the forums and decided to join as I see the level of expertise is high as is the level of support and community. Hope to be able to add some value to the forums.

I don't have any pics yet that I can post, but the RK is fairly stock except for the Heritage handlebars. Plus, it's been lowered about 1" to 1.5". Seems to fit me like a glove (I'm 6', 240lbs). I live in a very cosmopolitan community in Northern Alabama. I'm really looking forward to getting out and riding.
