Just completed purchasing my first Harley - a 2009 Road King standard in the fastest color. I'm excited, of course. Unfortunately, the weather is going to be bad for the next couple of days so I won't get any riding in.
I have had crotch rockets prior to this motorcycle. Nothing against metrics, but I'm getting to old to always be leaning forward (cafe racer style). Hurts my bad back.

I don't have any pics yet that I can post, but the RK is fairly stock except for the Heritage handlebars. Plus, it's been lowered about 1" to 1.5". Seems to fit me like a glove (I'm 6', 240lbs). I live in a very cosmopolitan community in Northern Alabama. I'm really looking forward to getting out and riding.
