I enjoyed the three years I spent on Oahu. I bought my 06 Streetbob there to replace the 03 Nightrain that was stolen on the island. They stole my jeep two months earlier.
Your insurance will be high due to all the thefts. Stay away from Pearlridge Mall, it and the Mall in Kaneohe are the highest risk areas although bikes are at risk anywhere on the island.
The toughest choice when riding was clockwise or counter-clockwise. Occasionally island fever would get to me but I would have a cold one on the beach and it would soon pass...
