Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy My name is Carlos and I am a first time Harley Owner, I am 44 years old, I rode a little back when I was younger. On March of 2006 my wife bought me my first bike, a Suzuki GS1000G (a fixer-upper) and from that I was hooked. In May of 2006 I found a 1999 Ultra Classic on EBay and lost the bid but the owner emailed me and said that the person that out bid me was a looser and ask me if I was still interested in the bike. I told him yes but not for the same monies so we negotiated a deal and I flew from Colorado to Florida bought the bike and road it back to Colorado (OMG what a ride, I did just shy of 1000 miles in one day) . As I mentioned the Bike is a 1999 Ultra Classic and only had 8000 miles on it and had a lot of chrome, I gave $13,000 for it and I am now in HOG Heaven. My wife and I are a part of the A.B.A.T.E. Group here in Pagosa Springs Colorado and have just joined the Hog Group in Durango Colorado. since May my wife and I have put 5000 miles on the bike and intend to do a lot more riding in the next month going to rallies here and Colorado and New Mexico. Anyway I just want to say Heyyyyyyyyy
Carlos, Welcome from the Denver area and Congrats. on the new bike. 1000 Mi. a day--wow. Did you do the ironbutt documentation? Lots of nice rides in your neck of the woods.
