New 2 the Forum
Hey Ya'll,
Sparky here from East Coast of Fla. Been ridin since 16. (50 now) Mostely Sporty's and a few Kawi's early on. Just found an '06 Street Bob FXDBI, 2035 miles, stock as they come (short of a set of forwards added) with a new trailor for $8500. Couldn't turn it down. Worst case I sell the Dyna for 9k, make a $500 profit and gain a nice trailer for the Sporty. Anyways, one question, (OK I Lie I'm sure there will B many) the risers on this bike, there mushy like there are some kind of grommets built into the mounts, got a ground jumper bor bonding neg. ,the bike came with mini apes, that get a good 1 1/2' to 2" play back to front, Supposed to do that? Somethin to save the old elbows? Not likin it much. Easily removed?
