welcome from north carolina, have you got a dealer near you that rents bikes? Maybe you could rent one like you are looking at to see which one fits you better.

Test ride them, used or not they should let you. You'll know pretty quick which one is for you; they're both great bikes, just different.

What dealer may I ask?

Welcome from the UP of MI. You need to decide what kind of riding you plan on doing. If you are able, take them for a ride. I use to lean towards the Glide, but now would lean towards the Heritage. I started with a 1200XL and now ride a Road King. Lots of open road time and better ride as I have gotten older.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I think I'd be better suited for the SuperGlide. It's lighter, has the new motor and my impression is that it will ride and handle better.

Also, it's cheaper. haha
