Welcome mate! Beautiful country and your mate's got himself a nice Train. I sure like mine.
I was lucky enough to spend 5 days in Perth back in early 1980. Great time and great people. The nude beach with all the beautiful women was enough to make me lay on my belly; if you know what I mean.
