Met a Texan while I was down in Georgia for a work conference. We were having lunch, and one other delegate mentioned I "must be from the north" because of my accent.
Geez; a Canadian accent - you guys should hear how you sound to us.
Anyways, we were talking about accents, and I think the guy from Texas summed it up perfectly:
"Won't y'all be disappointed when you die and go up to heaven and find that Jesus talks with a TEXAS ACCENT."
