Hello everyone, I'd like to formally introduce myself here. I've been riding for around 3 years now (taught myself on a $500 1982 Kawasaki KZ440LTD), and I decided to take Riders Edge a few months ago. Sold the KZ, and spotted my Sportster as soon as I stepped into the dealer. I've been around HD's my entire life, (my uncle has a 77 Sporty 1000, 91 FXDL and 96 Ultra) so I figured its my turn .

A few little details about me
I attended UTI in Glendale Heights, IL for my formal automotive, diesel and industrial repair training, and I currently work at a Midas in Brookfield WI. I have an AC ZR600 for when the bike is put away, along with a 92 GMC Typhoon that sees summer use only.

Now for the pics everyone always asks for! When I bought the bike at the end of June it had 7700 miles on it, and now I'm approaching 8500. Dealer installed a new front tire, rocker gaskets, enrichener cable and fluids. Previous owner installed SE pipes (which I love).

I do realize what a special bike it is, I haven't seen many other 95th anniversary models out there in general. I've become used to the clunk when shifting, and love the torque it has (my 440 was gutless).

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! The only additions I can forsee in the near future are some Heel Raiser pegs and some bags. Took it for a 200 mile ride yesterday and the legs felt it :P
