How goes it, I am new to harley's. made the move from crotch rockets, any how, I used to ride my uncles 2006 roadking till he passed away and his son in law took it and wrecked it.....less than 3000 miles on her, thats besides the point though, I found a killer deal on an 87 sporty 1100...it says there is a 1200 kit on it, is that possiable? What do you guys think about this bike? good? bad? ugly? I plan to use it as a commuter, oh I am trading my dirt bike for it. It seems to be in good condition, 14K on the odo......let me know what you guys think, Thanks.

Yes...It's possible and quite common...
IMO...I would rather have the 883/1200 than a stock 1200....
If it's been taken care of...I don't think you will be disappointed...
