Howdy, Just found this forum today, looks like fun. Started riding a Cushman Scooter in 1954 then a series of Triumphs and Hondas until 1965. Then I bought a 1958 Panhead and it's been 11 Harleys and a lot of Highway since. Last bike is 2001 FLSTC which will be my last. I got it when I retired. Been to Sturgis on it which was a 1450 mile ride one way for a 71 yr old. Lotta bikers out here in Ohio. Thanks, Wheelsage
Welcome from El Paso,Tx. A cushman scooter, eh. Definately Old School. I started out on a Whizzer Motorbike in Toledo, when I was 14yrs old. Remember those Whizzers?
I have liked every bike I've ever been on in the last 50 years.
My Dad and I were visiting the other day (he is mid 80's and still riding) about all of his old race bikes before and after WW II and the Korean Conflict. He sure misses a lot of them. He's looking at different ones now, wants another Harley in addition to his Ural with a sidecar. Mom's onboard, she just tells him to have fun.
