The rims on my '09 Softail are pitted with rust. The bike sets outside but is always covered. Harley says that if the rust is bubbling up from under the chrome, then it's a warranty issue, but surface rust, now pitted into the chrome is not warrantied. Excuse me, but is this a quality issue with the standard laced wheels. I thought good chrome would not rust. Any feedback?
