Hey all, new guy from Indy. I just purchased a 2010 fat Bob, should be picking it up next week. I have to tell you I'm about as green as they get. I haven't ridden a bike in about 30 years, and even then it was a dirt bike (1980 Honda CR125 Elsinore I bought new). I've been a car guy most of my life, I currently own a 68 RoadRunner that has a stroker motor and is pretty damn fast for a street car. Not really sure what happened, but I just decided one day that I wanted a bike. A lot of the people I talked to told me to get a Japanese bike. They can be had for a lot less money than a Harley and they are good machines. I understand what they are talking about, but the way I see it there two makes of bikes, HD's and everything else. I didn't want an imitation I wanted the real thing even if i have to spend a bunch more money on it. OK, sorry, I'm rambling here, I'm sure I'm going to ask some stupid and probably really obvious questions. Hope you all don't get too angry about it, but I really know next to nothing about this.

Well, just got back from the dealer and I changed my mind on the bike. I went for the 2010 Fat Boy Lo instead of the Fat Bob. I kept having second thoughts about the Fat Bob. I don't think I would have been entirely happy with it. I'm happy with my choice now, and really I guess, that's all that matters.
