I'm just researching for now, looking into the Dyna's as they seem like they would be a good transition for me and I'm amazed at how many used bikes are out there that are a couple of years old with such low miles on them...what's up with that? Garage Queens ya think?
Welcome from Raleigh...

Spend some time looking at other makes and models..... most of ALL bikes being sold, have few miles on them.... just another toy, someone bought, played with, and grew bored.
There are plenty of reasons to NOT log miles.... work/lack of work.... family.... illness, and so much more.

Seems like most of the bikes around me, have too many miles to sell.... who'd want my 2005 with 65k on the clock, when there's one just like it, with under 5k?
I wouldn't blame anyone for not buying my bike......which is why I'm not selling it.... unless made a REAL GOOD offer....

Yea, you know, over the years I've always kicked around picking up a street bike and I have looked at almost everything out there. If I was to get something other than a Harley it would probably be a Moto Guzzi, that bike has some style all it's own, however, dealerships are so far and few between that I could see it being a real pain if you got in a bind and needed some parts right away.

Everything else...well, it just aint me...I don't care what the guy thinks that pulls up next to me, I'm not out there to try to be something I'm not...I LIKE Harley's!!!

The only thing that I can say, is that if I find a good deal on a Street Glide or Heritage then choices will be tough. The dealer out here has an '06 Wide Glide though that has 3,800 miles on it that I'm drooling over, If it's still there in the spring, it'll probably end up in my garage!

Thanks for all the welcomes!!!
