My first Harley ('62 panhead in photo below) in 1969 someone poured about a pound of sugar into the gas tank... fortunately I didn't have a fuel guage so I took the cap off and looked inside before I cranked her up... I saw a pyramid of white stuff in the tank. I was living in an apartment complex in Garden Grove, CA then... I guess someone didn't like me starting the Harley early mornings...
Either that or they knew I was just back from Vietnam and they were anti-war.
Don't know, never found out.
Said all that to let you know... there are always nutty folks around but most are good.
Just got a 2011 Orange Wide Glide. This is my first Harley after riding Hondas for over 30 years. What a great machine. Too bad some jerk wrote "Wash Me" in the dust on the tank after it set in the parking lot a work the other day. Does that classify as justifiable to seek revenge?
Congrats, great bikes yea!?! upgrade, dress-up or what ever you want, its your baby.
Instead of getting mad, toast them, write in the dust that people who cant afford a good bike buy Metric. Or, I'm not interested in missing all of Gods great country (too bad Obama is selling it off) crusin is best.
