New HD owner. I've been a long time rider (metric) but sold all of my stuff probably 15 years ago when I got married and started a family. I've had the itch recently to get back in, and after touring the HD plant Menomenee Falls a few years back I was convinced it was the only bike I would buy.
Yesterday I finally made it happen with an 05 Road King Classic that was nicely modified by the previous own who strictly used it in Patriot Guard rides, and the mileage reflects that with just under 25k miles on the clock.
I'm also a long time gear head with an active drag racing hobby (turbocharged Mustang with just under 1500 HP on tap for 140 mph 1/8 mile runs). I'm hoping the gear head side of me will pick up on the bike maintenance easily with the help of this forum.
