I'm originally from Illinois myself, North Chicago area. Still have lots of family in the Waukegan and Fox Lake area. I haven't been home in a few years though. Going to try to make it up there this spring/summer, road tripping with the wife, don't know if I'm going to be able to take the bike or not though, probably only going to be able to take 1 or 2 weeks of vacation, and I doubt my wife is going to want to drive that far by herself in the car with 2 small dogs while I ride the bike. Might trailer it and take my truck though. We'll see as the months go on. Stay safe out there!!!

thanks for doin' your thing in the yacht club for us.
Me and the wife actually like the area a lot, sorry you didn't like the experience. Lots of things to do such as fishing, boating, and riding. Can do most things year round too, better than up in Wisconsin or Illinois, can't go out in the boat when the lake is frozen over.
