im new the forum and new to working on this bike. i just bought a 1980 shovel with an 83" stroker kit for $1500. its a basket case but the entire bike is together and it runs. when i roll on the throttle it runs fine but when i snap the throttle the rpms start to pick up then it bogs and if i hold the gas it stalls if i let go it goes back to an idle. i messed with the accelerator pump screw and it didn't help. could it need to be taken apart and cleaned, is the main jet to big and flooding it? oh and the plugs are black but not fouled out
