New Guy from Il.
Anyway enough about me.... I have a custon 92 FXR-S that I inhareted after my father passed in Dec. of '06. He had actually bought the bike from Florida about two weeks before he passed and only rode it a couple times. Since then, me and my wife have put maybe 1000 miles on it. I have thought about selling it to get a new bike, but I don't think I ever will. My dad didn't own it very long, but I could tell that he really loved this bike. I really want a Streetglide and I think I'm going to start saving for one...Hopefully be on one by next spring!
I stumbled across this forum and am wanting to learn more about these bikes and how to work on them a little bit better. I just sold my 650hp Camaro over the summer, so I am somewhat mechanically inclined since it was full of matinence. I also like how nice the people are in the biker community. We have been on a few poker runs and memorial runs and have walked away with more than a few good friends. I've browsed this forum a little and it seems very informative and well put together. Well, I hope to be around here for some time and will probibaly be asking some stupid questions but I hope to be able to help out as well as best I can.
Thanks
Ryan
Here's a couple pic's I have saved on my computer of my bike. I'll have to get some new ones sometime...Let me know what you think!!!

Nice bike you got there! From what I have seen FXR's are getting harder to find, especially as nice as yours.
If you need a hand wrenchin or have any questions, feel free to ask!
Not telling U what to do but if I got my hands on a bike my Dad owned, I'd never get rid of her..
My best keeper I have of his is a Gibson 4 string Bango he carried for 2 yrs in france with him during WW11... I'd never let go of that....
The bike didn't cost U a penny and if U want a SG I'd keep the Dyna and park the new one beside her....
There two completely different bikes and rides...
All of this is JUST my OPINION.... take it for what its worth to U.... If U get rid of her, U may some day regret it.....
Welcome to the Forum and safe riding.
