Sunday I brought my new 2011 Road King home. I just traded in my 2011 Heritage Softail Classic. All i can say is WOW!!!!!!! I put 1500 miles on the softail since November of 2010 and I quickly realized it wasn't right for the type of riding I like to do, which is all day, every day, any time, rain or shine.
The Road King rumbled and roared and blasted down the road with the new 103 ci I just cant say enough about this bike or maybe I did already?
The local dealership here was perfect and extremely helpful,I had just ordered Vance and Hines big shots and new hyper chip with stage one air cleaner for the Softail they charged me a small restock fee and got the same setup coming for the new 2011 Road King with out even blinking an eye!
Harley has earned a customer for life I could'nt ask for more! I'm looking forward to all the miles I will be racking up on the new Road King.Attachment 166757
Hi I'm looking at 2011 Heritage Softail Classic. I won't be riding all day. May 2-4 hours sometimes more. Is there something wrong with it. Also if I may ask what did you pay for the Heritage? Thanks David from Florida. I'm 5'10 175 if that makes any diffrence. I'm trying to figure out why you didn't like the Heritage.

David: It's an easy question to answer buy the Road King Classic the Softail is a fantastic bike it's just not in the same league as the RKC.
I paid $15,900 for Softail in Vivid Black paint ( i will never get Black again what a pain to keep clean!) The dealership gave me $15,000 for my bike and the RKC was $19,900.00 I had the extended warranty total of six years which transfered to the new bike and the Vance and Hines pipes with hyper chip and stage one air cleaner was sent back and they charged me $128.00 restock fee and re ordered same set up for new bike!
The whole process was painless thanks to the best dealership in the USA. By the way this dealership sell's to folks all over the country because they sell at MSRP no dealer mark up!
I had a great time on the Softail it's just not set up to ride as much as I like to ride and the RKC is just a friggin hot rod! By the way I'm 5' 8" and around 175 and the RKC is no problem.
I hope this answers your question? Later Scott
