I'm a FNG here but been ridin since I bought a friends broken down (and I do mean broken) Bultaco dirt bike for $25.00 back in 1968. After spending nearly a year at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic I bought a new 1990 FLSTC. Still have "her". I got badly hurt in a work accident in 2007 and have been trying to get back ever since. My poor baby had to sit under a bike cover in South Florida for almost a year before I could her pushed up into the garage. Before then I rode her EVERY day. Had not lived there long enough to make tight friends. My poor wife and daughters didn't have enough poop in their pants to move her. Pretty grim sight under that cover. Three years and more back surgerys than I can count later I cannot pick my left foot off the ground or move my foot much for that matter also can't feel my toes and most of both feet. I bought a '08 Sporty to ride while I rebuild my beloved softail but that has'nt worked out too well. I am finally near the point where I can start the repair of my softail but will have to add a hack or convert her to a trike. I'll be asking for your help to get this done. So.......that's my story and i'm stickin to it. Thanks for listenin.
