I have a 03 FLSTSI Heritage Springer that I just bought from a private party. within the first week of owning here are my problems:
Speedometer not working (light does though)
odometer not tracking
blinkers wont auto turn off (i'm thinking its the speedo sensor for all 3 above?)
a LITTLE oil leaking from primary cover and top of the heads.
also around 30-40 mph one handed riding the front tire sometimes shakes?
Pretty sure its the speed sensor for the first three; not sure about the others.
I had the same problem with my 03 Fatboy and the speed sensor solved the problem.
Good luck; post some pics when you can. I've always liked the springer........

Get some brake cleaner and clean your primary real good so you can nail down the area of the primary that leaks. Top of the heads leaking would be rocker cover gasket.

any thoughts!?!?
Welcome to the mad house. You are probably right on with the speed sensor being the root cause first three issues. For the wobble, mine did that when the front tire was getting worn. Might need to adjust the fall away. Really need to check out HSOA. That site is dedicated to Heritage Springer and has a tremendous amount of info about your bike as well as several folks that can help with any and all questions you may have about your Springer.
