Default Tour pac

Hello folks, I am new to your forum, but not to the sport. I ride an 03 Road King Classic and my wife has an 06 Softail Deluxe. I have an 07 SE Ultra on order, which is what brought me to your site. I am wondering if anyone has made the tour pac quick detach? If yes, could you tell how to prepare to go about it? My dealer says it is not possible due to the amp and wiring. Any help would be appreciated. I am impressed with all the articles and topics that are able to viewed here.
Thanks Jay Dee

First off, welcome to the Forum from Northern California.

Try your question in the touring forum a lot more people hang out there. Several people have done so, but I am not sure if 07 is different.

Welcome from Rhode Island.
My tour pack is quick detach with connectors for the brake wires and antenna relocate kit. No speakers on a classic. Honestly I have only taken it off a few times. It comes on and off easily, but I kind of like the protection of all the extra lights with it. One downfall is the quick detach hardware lets the tour pack rattle slightly. Good Luck.
