I just joined this forum. I recently started riding my first HD - 2007 883 Low. Its been great. I've kept the bike pretty lean - adding only sissy bars and passanger pilon, luggage rack, windshield and engine guard. My plan is, in the spring, to either upgrade the tank to 4.5 gallons and replace the stock seat with somthing with more back support (for longer rides) or trade up for a softail Deuce. But I like the mid/forward controls on the Sportster.
I'm only about 5' 8" - so I'm wondering about the forward controls on the bigger bikes (any view appreciated).
Welcome to HDF from central upstate New York. I would try sitting on one that has had forwards added. Also a highway bar with highway pegs might be an alternate way to go, you could move your legs around on a long ride
