Newby here..... need advise
Welcome from Florida, try the Softail section for help on you bars, also I don't know where you live, but if you have a local "bike night" that can be a place to get some good ideas and talk to somebody who might have what you want.

I have a 2009 softail deluxe... love it but I am 5 ft small frame and my stock handlebars are too far a reach for me. I can't put more money into bike . Anyone have any ideas if I could buy a riser that would bring them toward me ???? I sat on bike yesterday that had the harley heritage ones on it but they are too high but come in really nice. Need to have it come in more. Love my bike but would be so a lot safer for me to have bars in closer (why do they have to make them so wide) any suggestions would love to hear... Would a riser help and if so would I have to change the wiring. Thanks Julie
replace your risers with "pull back risers" but check first as you may
need to change cables too. anyway,enjoy your stay.
