Been lurking around the shadows for the last couple days. Found this forum completely on accident, and figured I'd check it out. Went ahead and registered, and when I saw how "picture happy" everyone is, I figured I'd wait till I had a pic or two of the bike to introduce myself.
Currently riding an '05 Night Train my wife bought me a couple weeks ago (she's the best), bafter I got back from deployment. Before that I had an '04 883 that I got as a refresher bike. It had been over 10 years since I rode anything, and that was my first "big bike".
Looking forward to spending some time on the site. Seems to be a great bunch of folks, and everyone seems to get along real well. Unlike so many other forums that I have seen and ignored over the years. After spending time reading, before I posted it seems like a big happy family, and that I've known some of you for a while. Now let's see if I got this picture posting thing right.
Welcome Seabrew, You're not the first to say something about not participating in other forums because of the flaming going on. I found that to be true myself. We have a great bunch here.
Welcome from another newbie. Location of San Diego & an ID of SeaBrew; iâm guessing USN? I retired from the Army last November with 22 years. Glad you made it back safe from âover thereâ. Congrats on the wife getting you that Night Train. My wife bought me a Heritage when I retired. Military spouses are great arenât they! Again, welcome. Keep your head down & your powder dry man! See you out there.
Howdy Seabrew, welcome to Harley Country. There are a few others on this forum that have the Nightrain, so you will have some good company. This is a good forum, that's why we having so many people join our family, now you're one of them. Enjoy the ride.
