Just joined. Ride an 04 Duece. Live on Long Island and ride till the DOT drops the sand. Speaking of which riding in Pa. over Memorial Day weekend, going into a turn on a mountain road, hit some sand/dirt and the m.f.er took off like it was ice. Broke a rib,torn a muscle and some very minor road rash. But, I made the local paper! I was wearing a helmet. Duece did not have a scratch..... It was home in the garage - I was on a rental - $4,000 in damage covered by the dealers insurance. Hopefully, my first and last. Friends found it humerous since I read everything I can about riding safe & sober. Anyway, nice to be here. Hope to learn some stuff. Ride Smart!!
