Whats up all? Just found the site and joined, I figured I say hi. My name is Gene, and have been on bikes since 5. Grew up racing (and breaking bones of coarse) Used to ride "rockets" and as I got older I tried to get more responsible, last ride was a ZRX1100 (half-rocket). Anyways, like I said I'm getting grown up now and also the wife wouldn't get anywhere near the back seat of the ZRX. So I decided if I was going to slow down a bit, I'd do it in style. New ride is a 2004 Road Glide. I can't believe what I was missing, so relaxed and enjoyable, plus she now will ask me to take her for a ride! I made a lot of friends on the ZRX page I still hang with, even though they say I turned to the "dark side". I hope to do the same here. I also hope to get some tips and advice.
Welcome to the forums from the Arizona Highlands. Congrats on the Road Glide and welcome to the dark side. [sm=vader1.gif] The usual first mods are SE air cleaner, SE II slip-ons, and rejet or remap. Pics? We're crazy about pics.
Alredy did the SE- k&n + Rinehart true duals, nice sound and a little better performance. Also had to add the backrest for the little lady. Which brings me to my next project-- use the #2 speaker selection for another set of speakers. I like the look of the bike with just the backrest, instead of going with the tour pack, but would love 2 more speakers. Thanks for the welcome guys
