New guy
Hello to everybody. Just joined the forum, although I probably won't buy a harley until next spring. I've been riding crotch rockets for 3 years, and right now I have a 2000 R6. I love the power and how nimble the bike is, its just not comfortable enough for me to take my girlfriend on rides longer than 20 minutes. I'm planning on selling it in the spring and buying a sportster 1200. I'm 6'3, but I've road a couple of sportsers and didn't feel cramped on them. I want something smaller, and I really like the way the custom rides. I know the dyna would probably be better for long trips, but it's a little out of my price range (unless I buy a '90s model) and I want a harley that is as sporty as possible. I figured with the sportster I'll just buy a better seat to throw on for longer trips. I can't wait until spring!
