Just found this site by accident...looks great. I'm more of a car guy but do like my Harleys. First one was a 69 FLH, sold it and bought a new 78 FXS Lowrider...which I didn't like, then bought a 52 FLH and wished I had kept it. Laid off bikes for a few years to build up my 66 Nova, 79 Vette, several trucks and now a 33 Chev.
I have a couple of posts here (tech and parts wanted)... sure would like to find an OEM hartail frame and swap my 79 shovel parts into. Not sure what I need...but for the little riding I do.. I can handle another hardtail.
Have a picture of my 79 shovel in the "parts wanted" section of this site. I have it just about where I want it...but if I can locate a bolt up hardtail then I can add some upswept fish tail exhaust to look like a real old school.
hey maybe somebody might want to trade for a hardtail basket case? I enjoy creating them more than riding them!
