Hi all,
first name is Larry, living in Belgium Europe.
I joined this forum because I'm looking to buy a brand new 1200 Custom shortly, let's say at last in january/february 2012. Reason is that buying bikes in my country is interesting for the tax payer (that's me!), you may put everything about the bike on your tax declaration and the amount you have to pay is lowered, kind of a system introduced to have less cars on the highways. So let's roll!
I already went to a H-D dealer, saw some bikes there, the only bike I can afford reasonably (you know, divorce, alimoney, blah-blah-blah, home mortgage) is a Sportster. I'm a biker for years, but have always owned ricers, most of them being Yamahas, but hell, I'm 46 years old, and if I don't buy a H-D now, I never will. Plus the fact that a Sportster is cheaper than one of those V2 jap bikes. So let's roll again!
So, I'll stay tuned, read this message board toroughly, and maybe ask some questions.
for the remaining: I'm a officer in the Navy, 28 years of active duty, Persian Gulf Vet (1987-1988 and 1991)
