Hi to all! I'm From St-Petersburg, Russia
Since 2003 I'm riding HDs
Used to love baggers. Now I'm gettin' old -Got for myself Dyna Fat Bob
Most weird destination I rode - Sahara desert - 14 000 miles return ride.
Used to be self employed.Retired. Now do nothing. Just riding and for fun supervising riding school.
Welcome from Nebraska ! And I thought it got cold here ! Russia: great vodka, beautiful women and apparently some hard core riders !
When I got my first Harley in 2003 (it was Ultra brand new form Finland) it was about 200-300 HDs registered as well as some WLA from WWII. Now, two OD latter... Its getting more and more popular. But still a lot of boys riding japs 'cos spares, garages and shops are all over the place.
Import duty if you do it privately 50% on top of US price but average wage bill is 1000 dollars wich is enought fpr living but not for Harley.
For HD-riders still ther is a major problem - OEM parts and aftermarket. Till recent Internet helps a lot. Now with Moko attitude we got to use middle companies in States to get them. But any way more and more boys buying used scoots from USA
So answer is yes.
