Just like to introduce myself as a new member to the forum. Glad to be here!
I'm a keen Harley owner living in Shoal Bay Australia. Currently I ride a 2010 Ultra Classic Limited and love it! I also have a 1973 Shovel that my wife insists we keep - spent 6 years putting it together and we rode it almost all over Australias east coast. Before this current bike it was a 1993 ultra.
We enjoy long distance touring - accross the Nullarbor, far North Queensland, in fact the further away from home we are on the bike, the happier we are! (I know that doesn't sound right, but you get the picture).
Last June we took our first trip to the US, ticking off another box on the bucket list, and did Route 66. What a trip! You have a great country! Fantastic roads, and great people.
Why harleys? I reckon they're the only bikes on the road that talk to you when you ride them.
I'm currently looking at upgrading my suspension, and have started by contacting Howard at Motorcyclemetal about some Ohlins. I'm looking forward to the improved ride!.
I look forward to learning as much as I can from the forum about my bike and harleys in general.
Brett.
