In July I bought my first Harley, a 2011 Road Glide Custom. My other bike is a Naked Honda that weighs 425lb. The RG is almost twice as heavy. I am finally getting used to having to muscle around all of that extra weight. Any way, just wanted to introduce myself to the HD community.

Don’t worry about the size/weight thing. I did the same thing, went up in weight a few times. You will learn to tame the beast in no time. Do some parking lot stuff, practice, practice… Eventually you’ll get comfortable with it. I still look at my Limited like it’s a beast, but once I’m rolling it’s not too big a deal. Even when it's sitting still I just have to be firm with it...
Its going to sound weird but you'll know what I mean when it happens if it hasn't already....make yourself one with the machine and the weight will take care of itself..........Welcome to the forum from Arizona.
