Hello everyone. I am very excited to have found this forum. I joined to help my parents. They have an original 1972 Shortster with the 65 CC 2-stroke single cylinder motor. Unfortunately it is collecting dust in their garage. My Dad bought it new, sold it to his Dad, and then it was later transferred back into my Dad's name. It needs just a few small things: a tail light lens and I'm not sure what else. They are looking to sell it. It is a shame to see such a wonderful piece of Harley history just collecting dust in the corner of their garage. We are trying to find someone to appraise it fairly. Unfortunately when they tried to sell it years ago, they got a huge range of prices so they got confused and very discouraged and gave up. I will be honest not only have they wanted this bike to get a better home but now they are determined to be amazing parents and finance my upcoming wedding. With hard times USA they could really use the extra income. Please help is there a professional that can come and give them a fair appraisal?
