I can see how you are so frustrated - I would be too mate!!
I know it's no consolation but to be honest the councils are going to start gritting the roads now that it's turning really cold, so you really wouldn't want to be riding the new bike round at the moment anyway. The acid in the grit will kill the finish in a few weeks!
Best thing you can do is find some nice big pictures of the Street Bob and stick em up all over the house to remind you of what's coming. Before you know it the weather will improve, the roads will be clean and dry and you'll be grinning from ear to ear behind your lid and won't even remember the "pain and suffering" of the long wait!!!
Thanks to you all for your reply,s i feel better now i am over the shock of being told i have another 2 months to wait !!
I know good things come to those who wait so i will trundle on with my Honda for now.
Have a Great Christmas and Keep your bikes shiny side up
ordered my '06 in nov.05....they didnt even have one bob in the place!!
walked in, told 'em what i wanted,[with extensive list of part numbers in hand] when all was said and done....i rode it out on friday jan. 13th 06[yep friday the 13th has always been my lucky day!]
mine got all caught up in the recall stuff w/ the neutral switch so i guess that made it take a bit longer
chin up mate....wont be long now, once all the holiday crap is done you'll almost be there!
yeah... there for a while you had very long waits on new orders in the states too.... not so bad now, but we have more dealers where we can go to get the specific color we want. Hang in there, it will be worth the wait. Welcome to the forum.... from Ohio.
