Yep, what you've got is a slab-side, generator, Shovel-Pan....call it what you will. I'm looking at that bike and listening to the story it's telling me about the kind of man your Dad was.
I heard you say you need money....we all do. If at all possible, you should consider keeping that bike with an eye towards riding it some distance some day as a way to kind of "feel" the man your father was.
I like what that bike says about him on the surface. Sorry for your loss and good luck to you on whatever you decide and if I had $7500 I'd give you papercuts handing it over.
