Well I just moved up here last january, then went immediatly to Iraq (Air Force TACP) for about 10 months. I'm told, however that the season goes from around April to Sept/Oct. The guy I was talking to muttered something about "no bad rides, only bad gear" Definitely need to dress warm in the early and late months. The bonus about Alaska is the whole Land of the Midnight Sun thing. Really looking forward to exploring on my Night Rod, and I really appreciate all the welcomes I've gotten from everyone. I like to assume that it's fairly indicative of the type of people who ride HD.
