Welcome to the forum from ND. Get some experience before taking your wife with. Maybe the MSF course as well? Then you may want to look into a better passenger seat and a removable backrest for her comfort.

Thanks for the advice. I bought the quick release backrest with the bike, but they had to order it. I am signed up for the MSF course in a few weeks. I definitely want to get more comfortable on the bike before I put anyone on the back. As for a different seat, what would you recommend?
