Thanks to all the HD forum members that have welcomed me. Since I have not ridden for four years, I have spent the last 6 weeks riding 1600 miles thru mountains, highways, and freeways. "If you don't use it you lose it". Riding in the mountains at night is the most challenging for me. Not to mention that I have had a couple of crotch rockets pass me in my lane ON THE RIGHT around a curve. I don't understand how a biker can do that to another biker. I have re-learned to scan the mirrors all the time. Good riding to all.
Thanks again for all the welcomes. It is great being back on an HD. I am a 61 year old dentist with no one understanding why I ride. Dentistry is stressful if you really care about your patients. Riding is my great escape. Also, it is great to meet people from all walks of life.
