Welcome from the high desert of So. Ca. I am also a newbie here and a new owner of a 04 FatBoy, and I am a fat boy on a Fatboy, I'm 6'3" and 300 plus lbs.
Awesome. Thanks to everyone for the welcome's. What a great place to learn and crow about the bikes.
Big, liking the Fatboy as much as I do? Mine was a low mileage barn kept toy to a pseudo rich guy that I got with 3800 miles on it. Now I'm converting to a bike I'll ride few times a week to work and back. Mods are the fun part.
Not a lot of miles for it's age only has 24000, was a one owner who owned several bikes. He was very meticulous being aa aircraft mechanic. I really like the bike so far. I just bought it a few weeks ago.

Enjoy! I'm excited. Mines at the dealer now getting the wheels swapped, carb work, and a badlander seat. Beach bar job coming but not in the budget this month. Soon enough.
Gotta convert it from a 65 yr old man's bike to a young punks. All in good time. I turn a wrench too so as soon as I'm in the groove I'll do much of this work myself.
The paint that's been mentioned is custom from CA Harley bought at original purchase and numbered 50 of 150. Original owner only put 3800 miles since '01 but I plan to put many many more on it.
First long ride was last weekend from Jax to Daytona along A1A. Perfect weather and great Saturday and Sunday for a cruise.
Doesn't get any better than that.
The paint is a Limited Edition set that Harley offered in 2001 in several different colors. I had the same set in purple (18 of 150) until I got rear-ended in 2010. I liked it so much that I had a similar scheme done except in blue with different marble and some additional graphics.
I was told by Harley that the original sets were done by Colormania. I like your color much better than the purple version.
BTW, welcome to the forum.
