I've been a reader here on the forum for a few months. I been on my '00 Sporty for about 6 years and loved it. Rebuilt the whole thing from the frame up. Since I'm not a big fan of letting some other dude touch my girl, I turned all my own wrenches. I had some help from this site and the XL Forum.

Took the new bike out today and rode around the Fort Worth area. Put more miles on without taking a beating than I have on the Sporty in quite some time. Kinda nice listening to music and pipes at the same time!
