Hey y'all,
Just signed up, bought a '93 FXDWG on tuesday. Attaching a pic -- I don't like the paint and plan to repaint it after I get done paying for the bike.
Got a couple small issues I'd like help with, probably will post in a more appropriate section of the forum but here as well in case anyone can help
1) my brake light is stuck ON (the taillight is constantly bright)
2) yesterday after riding around my neighborhood a couple times I noticed the red oil light was on. The oil should be fine - what are the possible causes of this?

welcome! you have come to the right place. i am sure others will pipe in with other options... couple things to look at.
oil levels may be fine.. but is oil flowing through system?
this is just my opinion, but always good to purchase a maintenance manual for your bike.. helps with debugging issues. jp cycles has a good selection, see if they have your bikes/ year version available. about $50.

Thanks for the reply, I'm winning an auction on Ebay for a service manual right now, so I should have one next week. I'll be on vacation all week at my parents' house in Ohio so I'lll have some time to mess with the bike, would like to get all the little issues resolved then
