Default will it fit?
I just bought a 01 softtail std while on vacation. it is a 700 mile ride home which wouldn't be that big of a deal. but forecast looks shitty and im not prepared. will it fit in my F350 short bed. i can't leave gate down im pulling trailer.

Take the tail gate off and it'll fit enough so that you can pull the trailer. Might have to throw it in there at an angle, but it's doable.

How big is your trailer, might be able to use a hitch extension.
