Well I went out the other day and purchased a 99 sportster 1200. PO took decent care of it (mainly kept it clean) It has a hypercharger (which I hate) and aftermarket exhaust (which I like)..

The bike runs alright but needs some TLC, currently backfires and pops through the carb from time to time so I am thinking it needs jetted and when I pulled the hypercharger off there was old gummed up gas sitting in there... YAY!! So I am going to rejet, clean the carb and go from there.

I look forward to the help as we as helping others on this forum and hope it is a nice as some of the others that I belong to...
