Hello from far west chicago subs..
Hi all,, wanted to introduce myself. Been reading the forums here for a couple months. First thing about me is Im a new rider. I dont consider this a midlife issue,,, thats why I bought my boat...lol.
So anyway.. Im new.. had a friend recommend taking the MSF course. which I did,, decided that I wanted to do this,, thought about my bike,, had fun looking. I live somewhat rural.. I went with a 05 heritage. Had some suggest smaller,, some bigger,(Im a bigger guy), the bike I bought fit good.
I spent awhile staying close doing low speed stuff,, figure 8s etc.. but have started to take longer +100 mile rides..
what I dont have yet and value is friends who are long time riders...a mentor for advice. will be looking into my local hog chapter,dealer I bought from (fox river) seems to have a active chapter and activities they promote, but want to get more miles under me.
so Im looking online here to get some sage advice and to learn what I can...
So far Im proud Ive changed a few things myself on my bike,,, and am looking forward to doing my first services on the bike..
I have had and am still dealing with some heath issues. I like feeling the freedom and feel a ride gives me. and look forward to growing as a rider.

I own a spot at a campground in senica,, Im out your way alot boating out of starved rock marina ,,, I look forward to my first rt 6 ride.along the river..nice area of illinois. and thankyou all for the welcome..
