Hi everyone
I have developed a new interest in Harleys! And found this forum... I live up in the Spokane, WA area.
I haven't owned a motorcycle since the early 70's... so about 40 years now... I owned two bikes back then, a Sears something or other, that my dad gave to me after he upgraded to a better Sears motorcycle. And then around that time I had a Kawasaki 125cc 4C street bike that I won in an art contest. So that has been the extent of my motorcycle world so far.
So something has triggered this mid life desire to HIT THE FREAKING ROAD AND HAVE SOME FUN for once haha... right now I want to take a road trip to Roswell, NM to see some alien stuff... first though... I HAVE TO GET A HARLEY! Yay... and of course, I guess I will have to come up with the money to pay for it, I haven't figured that part out yet. All I know is I WANT ONE and I like to dream!
I am a little concerned about the size of them. I am not a big guy at all, 5-8 and a lightweight, so not sure about the bigger bikes like the Road King.. which I kinda have my eye on... I want to tour... I kinda like that Switchback too. Its cool and it is a little smaller than the RK... anyway, glad to find this forum and I am looking forward to learning more about Harleys...
