Been around the site for a bit, and thought I would submit an official 'hello'.
I have asked a couple of questions in other parts of the forum - and have not had much response - but hopefully that will change as I get to visit the site more often.
A bit about me. I'm mid 30's and from StL, MO. Been riding bikes as long as I can recall...Off-road stuff as a teen, then bought my first streetbike when I was 17. I've had about a dozen different bikes over the years - mostly sportbikes, but kinda fell into the Harley thing after borrowing my dad's chopper a few years ago. Since then, I have done a lot of work on his bike(s),and have picked-up a Road King of my own.
I picked-upmy '99Road King as a 'fixxer' - it had been involved in a minor accident and needed mostly cosmetic repairs. In addition to the cosmetic fixes that I've done, Ihave also done a few upgrades, andthink that I may just have a bike that will turn a few heads when it's complete.
I'll take somepics as soon as I get it done - the last of my paint/powdercoat should be done this weekend, so if all goes well I can give it the first test-ride soon.
