Finally registered
Well, I have been reading the forums for a couple of years and have gotten a ton of good info here. Finally decided to join up. Me: 56 years old, going on 17. Live in NC near Charlotte. Been riding since the age of ten or so (dirt bikes), did a little MX Early 70's, Rode rice rockets in the 70's and 80's (Kawasaki). Got run over by a drunk in a pickup, broken back, etc. Took a few years off. Bought my first Harley a couple years back at Easyriders show. 2005 FXSTI Chopper blue pearl. Love it. Will be buried with it :-) Wife finally started to ride with me again this summer, so doing a few mods. Have a batwing and bags on it now. In the garage I have 16" front wheel and tire, Fatboy front fender, and Progressive front springs. All that going on in next week or so. Next will be Progressives on rear. Would get a bike made for two up touring, but have bonded with this one and can't let her go. That's my life story. Sorry if it put you to sleep. Ride safe. Eddie
